Musical Theatre Company

MTC is a highly competitive training program for students ages 8+ who are serious in their pursuit of artistic development. The MTC curriculum is modeled after many college conservatory programs and is based on developing the multi-faceted performer who seeks to hone their technical skills, performance ability and expand their knowledge of musical theatre. While the primary focus of MTC is training, there are several performance opportunities throughout the year.

Audition Requirements:

You should prepare about 32 bars (approximately 1 minute) of a song that shows off your voice.

Students who are not currently in MTC may sing any song that they feel most comfortable singing, and may use a backing (karaoke) track on their mobile device, or provide sheet music for the accompanist.

Current or former members of MTC must bring sheet music that is clearly marked. Please sing a musical theatre song. Students 14 and older are encouraged to select material that reflects the growth they have made this year, and should be prepared with a second, contrasting song choice. An accompanist will be provided. (Please, no outside accompanists.)

Dance Company (DC)

DC is a September - June competitive training program for dancers 10+ looking to pursue a more professional approach to their growth as performers.  In addition to the physical and technical aspects of being an artist, dancers will be asked to reflect upon themselves as individuals so that they may perform from a place of honesty and genuine connection. Working closely with the Director to set personal goals, their progress will be reevaluated regularly.  Due to the nature of competition, workshops, and performance opportunities, choreography for performance pieces is often taught on weekends outside of regular class time, and a strong commitment to weekly classes and rehearsals is imperative.
